Show me and teach me about Montana Ag

Posted: Tuesday, February 5, 2013 11:13 am | Updated: 12:01 pm, Tue Feb 19, 2013.

In December the Show Me and Teach Me About Montana Ag contest was run for the Liberty County School Districts.  Participants were given a theme at their grade level to draw something and come up with a catchy slogan for different aspects of agriculture in Montana.

Students in grades Kindergarten through sixth grade participated.  It was just recently announced that Liberty County had 3 winners. The First grade state winner was Sydney Hawks, the Third grade winner was Tatum Hull, and the Fourth grade winner was McKenna Burbank.  These three will get to attend the National Ag Week celebration in Helena in March, they will receive $50 for their state winning bumper sticker, and also get to tour Helena while there.
